Generally speaking, for me, at least, when I’m placed in a situation like this things either turn out exceptionally well, or I end up sobbing over inedible slop.

Thankfully, this dish fell into the “Hallelujah, a triumph!” category.

I’d even pencilled in a soccer match on TV , on the assumption that the pointy-clicky technical stuff would go according to plan.

“Chocolate!”, exclaimed Paleovirtus Jr., quite out of the blue one afternoon. “We need chocolate!”

She then disappeared into her room, to do some research. She re-appeared a half-hour later with a shopping list, and promptly shot out of the door, heading in the general direction of our local hypermarket.
