Just like “Television” and “Automobile” Paleovirtus is a Greek-Latin hybrid.

Paleo – Greek, meaning “old”, here obviously referring back to the dietary regime we follow.

Virtus  – Latin, “strength, power”.

So, Paleovirtus means “Strength through the Paleo diet.”

Just in case any language Nazis out there start pontificating about declensions and conjugations, I shall here and now invoke the Humpty-Dumpty from Alice Defence, namely,

“When I use a word… it means just what I choose it to mean – neither more nor less.”
